We have been living sustainability for decades. Even before the word sustainability became more commonly known, the parents of our current generation of owners have been seeking out ways to reduce their environmental impact. Mr. Kindl Senior was the proud owner of the third passenger vehicle in Neustift and has picked up guests from Innsbruck central station from the beginning - since it was a small bed & breakfast.
A few things have changed until today - not only is the free shuttle service from Innsbruck an important sustainability aspect for us, but we also rely on renewable energy throughout the entire hotel. High quality, a positive ecological footprint and the preservation of our beautiful nature are what drives us.
If everyone pitches in, we can make a difference. Together with our partners, we have been committed to making a difference when it comes to sustainability in the Stubai Valley for many years.
Our modern hotel relies on alternative energy supplies: an in-house hydroelectric
power plant that provides us with part of our electricity, an efficient wood chip heating system with which our heating operation is 100% sustainable, and constantly growing photovoltaic systems.
With the Stubai Card, public transport throughout the Stubai Valley is included for all our guests, making it easy and environmentally friendly to travel. A complimentary public ski bus takes you to the slopes in winter.
In summer as well as winter, we offer free transport for our guests to the surrounding hiking and skiing areas, such as the Stubai Glacier, with our house shuttle.
It is extremely important to us to become even more sustainable when it comes to arrivals and departures. In order to give the classic last mile an improved ecological footprint, it has always been our ethos - then, now and tomorrow - to pick up guests with our hotel shuttle upon arrival in Innsbruck and bring them to our Kindl.
